Down in the isle. Wind is whipping pretty good. With some real choppy surf. Looking for a good spot to fish the subset this evening. Any help or advice is appreciated. No boat. Thanks in advance.

Taken a ride to Grand Isle the weekend of 6/7-10. I have been hearing the usual reports about trout on the beach. I was curious what the situation is with crabs in the surf. We have gotten skunked the last few years in June. Not looking for secrets just curious if anyone has caught any or not. A lot of extra gear to lug if there aren't any down there. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

Well hit the banks again today with my buddy JLS and ended up with 55 trout caught on croakers under a popping cork. JLS couldn't believe his eyes. He was catching his own trout. No fake pictures here. But then I woke up and realizer jls was not on this trip just me and 2 buddies off my softball team. Still a good trip though

My buddy Jay and I headed out of Breton Sound Marina around 5 AM Wednesday morning looking forward to a trout slam on the rocks. We were headed out via the Spoil Canal when the motor died. The key to us catching this week was the tide. BEAUTIFUL DAY IN DELACROIX
The wind felt like it was blowing but the further out i went the calmer the wind got.
Had TERESA,TEDOS,and SILLY on the boat today.Hit my spot and the sailcats were biting .Changed to a lighter weight on the line and it was ON.Had trout coming in 2 and 3 at a time. At 8:30am we had 90 in the boat.

Good times today having Will, Brandon & Robert Russ, and Stanley Barre back onboard. The bite is good as it gets right now. We had the trout coming in two at a time as soon as we pulled up to our first stop, and the Burn Hacks were flying. Great having Josh Cowart back on board with me. Josh brought his dad Greg and brother Courtney. No 25 mph winds were going to stop us from loading the boat. Dularge fishing is on fire, and the weather is great. Yes the wind has been blowing but, we have adapted and catching! I still have Thursday this week open and will start a 'walk on' trip, 4 people max. So if you don't have friends to share a trip with you I will find you some! These trips are always fun! Had a steady trout bite today on the tracks. Almost didn't go because of all the rain. Sat at Dockside and watched it rain for about an hour. Got the boat in the water for 8am with sky's clearing. Knowing we had to be back for 11 and looking at the dirty water we were not expecting much. Once we hit mid lake and put the poles in the water the fish were waiting. Ended the day with a nice.... Makes that box of fish even better coming from just....
Headed down on june23 for a charter ,with some guys who never have luck when we are down surf fishing with cut bait for shark reds or drum just anything large lol I have caught a couple dozen sharks in the surf but always when they go with me wind or surf too rough to fish .wondering if anyone had some tips or places to try for sharks thanks for any input
