I killed my First deer with a Bow up around the Mayflower Arkansas area on private land last week. I have killed a hog before but this was much more of a Adrenaline rush. Even though it was a button buck at 22 yards. Of coarse I thought it was a descent sized doe but i guess being that nervous, you dont really relize. Archery Shoot hosted by a dream child, Josh Castile to benefit Dreams Come True of Louisiana. Josh's dream was kill a deer with a bow and now he wants to give back to the organization.

My dad used a lot of implements to pull my teeth - and I used a pair of rusty fishing pliers to snatch out one of my son's loose teeth (hey, I jokingly told him to go get them, and he did - so what else was I supposed to do?).

Each year my brother in law and I travel to Columbus, MS for a deer hunt on private property. The two thousand acre plot is located on the Tom Bigbee River. Frank Robichaux a young student athlete at EDW Catholic and member of our Fishing Team took down this nice 9 pt buck this past Friday in the Napoleonville area! Frank is a great kid and is pretty steady with his bow! Love to see our young students spending time in the outdoors!

I would say you need a left handed bow you just can't get....
Can anybody recommend an 'Awesome' bowhunting outfitter that they have used or heard of friends using. I'm looking to bowhunt for 150'-200' bucks and not at some High Fence Outfitter that has deer as tame as cattle! LoL

Arrowed this buck 12/28/12 in Tensas Parish. When the weather turned windy with a light rain I wasn't too optimistic about my chances of bagging a buck, but around 5 pm I spotted this guy walking through the WRP at about 100 yards. Guys...Looking for a copy of the tape showing how to mount the (Ambusher or Buck-Pro) tree stands in a tree. Be happy to pay a reasonable price for a copy...It would really help me use my stand safely..

I was huntin near St. Francissville and not 10 minutes into my hunt I had a doe and a yearling come out in me. I tried to draw back on the doe but she spooked and took off. Not 45 minutes later I had 4 deer in my food plot including this 9. I was lucky enough to get a shot off and take down my first bow kill. For a 17 year old bow hunting, I'd have to say this one of my biggest accomplishments..... Read More

Thought I would let y'all know about a bad experience that me and a buddy had while hunting with a outfitter in northern Missouri. Cripple creek monster racks. Stay away from this guy. We hunted for seven days and the only deer that were seen was on the highway driving back to the motel every night. On the last afternoon hunt we were checked by a Missouri DNR officer. The best way to hold deer on your land is to cut down most....
the brairs are where the plot is goin to be so hunt the....
Most food plots are not tolerant of water. Water running....
