planned up a lil last minute hunt with seth and tab they brought the baydogs i had the CD caught two boars and two sows one boar got almost 5" cutters

I noticed someone said that it is illegal to hunt hogs at night? Is this out of a stand or what? I know you can hunt with dogs at night so what is the deal with this. If anyone knows I would appreciate it.

Went on a spur of the moment hunt Saturday evening. Tried a few spots with no sign of pigs. The last spot we tried the dogs got out of the boat, and struck twenty seconds later. They bayed 600 yds. away along a bayou. So we jumped in the boat and went around. When the boat hit the bank the dogs were bayed 60 yds. away. This is from the end of our first split of duck season behind golden meadow on king's ridge. Me and T were going check a little pond on our lease for an afternoon hunt when we jumped two pigs and we got the smaller one out of the two. Not the biggest pig but sure was tender.
Me and my buddies hog hunt with dogs south of Morgan City. If there is anyone on this site that would like to experience hog hunting with dogs feel free to contact me by email, or if you have a hog problem on your land and would like someone to help thin the population. Our dogs do not run deer, just hogs!! We do this for the sport of it. We just love to see our dogs work!!!

We went to our Texas lease in Zavala county Texas on Feb 26th and I was able to kill 3 hogs in 2 days. Attached is a picture of one of them. Leaving Friday 3/19 for opening of turkey season

Just a few pictures of the hogs we killed up on our lease in Jackson Bienville this Feb. We kill 5 sows and hobbled 4 boers and caught on little piglet. Had a blast with all my buddies..

This has been one of the best hunting seasons I have ever spent thanks to my eleven year old daughter,Cassidy!She recently started hunting with me and spent a cold ,rainy season waiting for her chance to shoot a deer never complaining all the while.She took a very hard shot at a huge buck but missed and the opportunity for another one never came around again.

My dad made a trip out to Texas with me and killed this hog. He had his pick of many bigger than this one but picked out this smaller sow which will go perfect on the pit cooked whole.

Finally got to team up with Joe and Tab and their gang on a hog hunt. Had a blast and got to stick my first hog. Needless to say it was a blast! Im hooked! I will post the pics that I have tomorrow morning. Just like to say thanks again to Joe and Tab for letting me tag along.

There is 1 hog on my land, I am not sure how he got there, but he is the only 1 around. I started feed ing him corn about a month ago and set out the trail cam. Hunted him a few times but he only comes out at night. Got a trap last week, Set it out on the trail he had going to the corn where I have been feeding him. So far coons have eaten 20 lbs of apples, 1 dozen donuts and a bottle os.... Read More

You can try setting a snare on the trail the pig is using....

I finally was able to bring my two dogs out to the woods. we went to Pearl river unfortunately did not jump any pigs but the dogs had a great time running through the swamp.
