I have 8 guys coming down for a snow geese hunt, I know nothing about where to go. Please, if you have been on a guided hunt and it was good let me know. Thanks

Snow goose hunt

Snow geese are much tougher to decoy than they were just a few years ago. Avoid David Smith. Search his name on this site. I'd have a plan B for your buddies. Don't really know who else guides for them anymore b/c they are so tough to kill consistently. Good luck though. Maybe Rick Hall with Doug's in Klondike knows someone.

be careful

I have seen a good bit of negative feedback for david smith hunting on this site. the feedback said to stay away from him since he does not follow through on his promises about being a good outfitter. so be careful who you choose.

Something else ?

Have you thought about hunting something else other than snow geese? Ducks and speckle bellies are a little more predictable than snow geese. But even they will frustrate quite often. Good Luck.

David Smith

I actually had a real good hunt with him last year. There were thousands of geese roosted up in his fields, so it was a good opportunity.

I would say if your guys are coming later in the season David Smith would be a good candidate. He does have his guys lay out on levees.

Avoid david smith!!!!

Some friends of mine used david smith a few years back and it was a bad situation.

If you want to kill lots of snows wait until Feb and hunt Ar or Missouri, you won't be disappointed!
