BR Boat Show
For any of you thinking you might want to go to the boat show at the River Center, let me offer some advice. Stay home and pull your toenails out one at a time. I have never been to such a crappy 'boat show!!' $9 to get in and there is maybe, MAYBE 50 boats. Of those maybe 50 boats, at least 30 are pontoon or ski boats. There are 4 fiberglass bass boats, maybe 6 glass center console boats and a handful of ridiculously over-priced Xpress'. There are NO booths having to do with boat/fishing, a few booths for a Credit Union and Mitchell from Swamp People. There are more people trying to pawn off Scentsy crap then there are boating and fishing stuff.

7mm - It was horrible wasn't it???? 5 boat dealerships brought boats there. What shocked me more than anything was the price of the Xpress'. They had an 18 foot with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke and they want $29,000 for it!!!!!! Funny thing was some moron paid that much for it as it had a 'SOLD' sign on it! Really???? A 30k 18 foot aluminum rig with nothing in it??? Incredible...

People are crazy. 30k for an Xpress is just laughable. He could have gotten some much better for that price.

What about this
They charge a family to go look at a boat to buy. Years ago the shows had all the top companies there but no more. The only place for a look at these type shows is this week or next at the classic. This type show I would be glad to pay and get in to see all the new ideas in tackle,baits,motors and boats.
