Anyone between the ages of 16 and 59 using the WMA must possess one of the following: a Wild Louisiana Stamp, a valid Louisiana fishing license, or a valid Louisiana hunting license. Persons 15 and younger or older than 60 years of age are exempt from this requirement.
Recreational crawfishing is limited to set nets or recreational wire traps with a 100-pound limit per vehicle or boat per day. Crawfishing is allowed from daylight to dark seven days a week.
For anyone utilizing recreational wire traps, a valid basic fishing and recreational gear license must be in their possession and each trap must be tagged with name and recreational license number.
Only 35 recreational traps are allowed per license, and no traps or nets may be left overnight. Also, no motorized watercraft are allowed on the South Farm complex. Walk-in or ATV access is provided to the crawfish ponds from the parking area. ATV's may be used on limestone roads only and not beyond NO ATV warning signs
