Benefit bass tournament
Hey guys, I'm trying to put together a bass tournament to raise money for a group at my church. I was thinking something like $100.00 per boat, and take 50% for the funds and payout the other 50%. For example: 40 boats would be $2,000 in prize money and $2,000 for the fundraiser. We would provide free food back at the launch for the anglers, and prolly payout top 3 or 5 places (depending on number of boats. What i'm wondering is would any of you guys be interested in fishing that?

The planning is still in the works, but I'm thinking probably Manchac public launch. It has a huge parking lot with a lot of space, free launch, good ramps, and you can get to a lot of places from that launch.

Tournament
Hey man think about holding it in bayou sorrel they have a big parking lot and free launch as well. also you would have a bigger winning stringer. in tournaments that i have fished in the past i have learned the lower the entry fee the more people that show up. maybe 50 per boat?? just take those things into consideration. also what church is it??

Tournament
Well, I wouldnt mind having it at sorrel but that's too far from all my volunteers I have working it. We are from Walker so Manchac is fairly close. We won't be able to provide the food now, but the payouts should be pretty good. The church name is Life Church, in Walker. We have the fliers made now.
