Inshore Fishing in Delacroix Island in Southeast Louisiana
Captain Jack fished off of Oak River. Fishing did not pick up until about 11:45. Action got pretty good and unfortunately they had to leave at 1:20. Trout were biting every cast. That’s two trips Jack had to leave when they finally started biting; Monday and today. Fishing should be spectacular this weekend in Lake Batola, Point Fienne, Skippy Lake, and surrounding bays near Oak River. If you want to get on some great action come on down and we will point you in the right direction. If you really want to learn how to catch trout; book a trip with Captain Jack. Plenty days are available for charters. Give us a call 504-342-2368 or 504-453-8382(Captain Jack’s cell). Total catch of the day was 25 trout, 3 big reds that were thrown back, 1 15lb channel cat was released, and 2 big Trout one weighing 4.25 lbs. and the other over 5lbs.
