'Fishfiles', yes, I have the link to that Fox news video posted on the 'Home' page of my website. It's very well done. The auto industry just released the results of a study/testing on the impact of 15% ethanol gas on 2001 and newer model cars which EPA said were safe to run on 'E15', despite that all 2001 and newer cars, domestic and foreign made, all warn owners in their owners manual NOT to use gas with greater than 10% ethanol as it may cause engine damage, and if it does, it would VOID their warranty. The tests confirms what the auto industry has been saying for a few years now. The test results showed exceedingly high rate of fuel pump failures among other damage. I'll post this article on my website next week.
'Popping Cork', thanks for the info on the Sorrento station. I'll check it out and remove from my list if confirmed. My Louisiana ethanol FREE gas list is now nearly two years old. I recently obtained a 2013 list of Louisiana gas stations and am ready to begin a total update of all Louisiana gas stations. This process takes several months. Thanks for all everyone's support readers. Don't forget to read my website for the latest news on ethanol gas related issues:

I have over 1,600 ethanol FREE gas locations in Louisiana's 64 Parishes and Mississippi's 82 Counties on my website's 'Ethanol Free Gas List'.
My Louisiana list is getting out of date since it's nearly 2 years old now. I just received an updated 2013 list of Louisiana gas stations and I'm getting ready to start a complete update of the Louisiana list. Will likely take me 4 months or more as there are about 3,500 gas locations in Louisiana.
Should anyone learn of a station that is on my list of ethanol FREE gas locations that has switched to 'corn gas', please e-mail me to let me know so I can take it off the list. E-mail me at:
way2gopete@yahoo.com
PS: Mike, what is the name, city of the station you are referring to on the north shore? Not sure I have it on my list? Search my list and let me know if it is not on the list and let me know with station details so I can add it please.

Keith P...........I am aware of the site you are referring to. It's called 'Pure-Gas.org'. In 2010, I threatened him with a lawsuit because he was copying my ethanol FREE gas list.
I see that on quite a few stations on his list in Louisiana, he now says 'Bulk import from Alton Landry Spreadsheet'.
I am seriously considering bringing a lawsuit against the site owner. He was warned by my attorney, but he is apparently still stealing my data.

'Poppincork'....You're right about R&B Grocery. I just spoke with the store Manager Ryan. They bought this store last fall and he switched to 'corn gas'. He did it due to pricing, but he admits it was a bad idea. While he's selling more gas, he says he hates to put this in his truck as he loses mileage big time. He only has two tanks and has blend pumps, so the State will NOT allow him to isolate one tank to ethanol free and another ethanol gas since it would pull from the ethanol tank if a customer selects mid grade, since it is a blend pump. However, he also told me he is currently pricing new pumps as his are very old and giving him trouble. I suggested he get 'non blend' pumps and then isolate his smaller tank to ethanol free gas and put ethanol gas in the other. He told me that is exactly what he plans to do. He wasn't sure when he might have the new pumps installed, but he has my name and phone number and will call me if he in fact does this and let me know so I can put his store back on my list. He realizes he was the last store in the Sorrento area that sold good gas and wants to get it back.
Thanks for letting me know. I'll take R&B Grocery off my list later today.

Thanks for verifying it. I called Rende's yesterday, which is at the corner of 61 and hwy 30 and a couple of miles from Ryan's. They still sell nonethanol but the last time I got some there, about 4 or 5 weeks ago, it took about 5 minutes to pump 5 gallons! The young lady whom I talked to said she couldn't tell me if they are pumping faster. May be someone knows and will comment!?
Guys, here's the Louisiana State Ethanol Pump Labeling Law (it's on my website under 'Ethanol Regulations):
§337. Gasoline-Alcohol Blends
A. A dispenser of motor fuel containing greater than 1 percent but no more than 10 percent ethanol by volume shall have a label on both sides of the dispenser stating “contains ethanol” or “contains up to 10 percent ethanol,” or “may contain up to 10 percent ethanol,” or similar wording approved by the commissioner.
1. These labels shall be located on the upper 50 percent of the dispenser’s front panel in a position clear and conspicuous from the driver’s position, in a type at least 12 millimeter (1/2 inch) in height, 1.5 millimeter (1/16 inch) stroke (width of type).
2. The color of the lettering shall be in definite contrast to the background color to which it is applied.
AUTHORITY NOTE: Promulgated in accordance with R.S. 3:4608, 3:4673, and 3:4680. HISTORICAL NOTE: Promulgated by the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Office of Agro-Consumer Services, LR 34:2550 (December 2008)

Failure to display the required label if the station is selling ethanol gas will first result in a warning, which if is not heeded, can result in a fine of $500/day/pump!
Check on my website's 'Ethanol Facts' page at the bottom and it tells you how to file a complaint with the Louisiana Fuel Director if you suspect a station is selling ethanol gas but does not have the required ethanol label on the pump. He'll send out an inspector to test the gas and inspect the station.
