Got off a half day on Tuesday so I decided to make a run to Delacroix for an evening trip. Big Chris couldn't get off work, so I called a buddy and he was in. Picked him up in Mereaux about noon, and had the boat in the first spot by 1pm. Caught a couple here and there and finally found them in the fourth or fifth spot we tried. Wound up with 22 keeper specks, too many throwback specks to count, and 2 huge bull reds. The bigger one was 27lbs on the scale. Smaller one was 22lbs. Not too bad for about 2 and a half hours of fishing.
