Shot Last Week in the Heavy Fog on 'Scouting for Upcoming Redfish Tournaments (Salt Water Series-Slidell Boat and Fishing Show) in Very Low Visibility.'
After having nice weather for a couple weeks and mid to high water and crystal clear for a while red fishing was made easy. But now it has went tuff, from 7 days straight with fog and clouds to a big front blowing all the water out last week and this week water dark like chocolate the easy limits have vanished. Although conditions have deteriorated we still have been catching some nice reds. Kristi and I made a quick trip on Sat. boating 5 solid reds then Capt. Tristan and I snuck out before the NFC and AFC Champ. games to only scrape 3 reds to eat for the games. Today we finally caught a limit for first time in a while but never could find any kind of a pattern. Some fish in cuts, some deep in bayous some shallow in the ponds they seemed to be as confused as I was. It took us 6 hours to catch 10 but finally picked a way at a limit. Water dirty too. The water had to come in a solid foot just while we were out there so look for normal tides to come back for a few days and the waters to clear and the reds to get going again.

seachaser..........I use a USA w/med heavy 6' 6' rod Flurocarbon line works great I have 2 USA w/ Flurocarbon the other mediun action 6'6' w/same reel w/ 12 lbs line caught some Big reds in that lite Speck Tackle as i call it

Nice Fish Chas....If water bout 2 ft deep&you're workin it w/the Action you're doin seem like Bait would come out the Water.... Aslo how can i fish out bout this tournament Info
