From what i understand put in@Bait Inc, they have have bait there too. go to google map you'll see landing I been wantin to go myself haven't made it there yet myself

Actually, you are much better off launching at Chef Pass. The fish are outside the locks, meaning that launching our of Bayou Bienvenue you will have to run all the way to Violet and back down the MRGO..... and then back. That sucks for the Bayou Bienvenue businesses there so if you can buy their bait they will appreciate it. A strong east or west wind also makes this unwise for many boats, too.

You are better off launching at Chef Pass right now. I don't know if they have live shrimp.

Thanks Dr. Spot. I looked on the map after jls referred me to Bait Inc. and did notice the travel distance on water. I had preferred to be closer to the action from launch site since the weather and time are a factor. I'll make sure to spend my money locally when I go out. I am a big fan of supporting the small businessman. They have enough trouble from Obamanomics to have to worry about. Thanks for the information. I may have to change my plans a little with the timing of this next front coming.
