Had a 23 longtail for a month or two when I had a similar problem. Ran fine in my yard but once out on the water I could only go about a hundred yards before it would die on me. I kept noticing that my inline fuel filter would empty out right before it died. Called Go devil and was told to check my oil level, even a quarter inch of excess oil can cause the vacuum fuel pump to fail. I drained out a tiny bit of oil and I havent had a problem since.
