After losing this fish 2 times in a local pond I've been fishing for years, I went to fish the spot on the first day of the Christmas break. I fished it all day and didn't catch anything except griping from my 2 friends that wanted to go in to play video games. On my mission to correct the world, I made them stay out the whole day and fish. They said we weren't going to catch anything over and over. But when 4:30 came, big boy McCoy got hungry. So when my appetizing kvd 2.5 crankbait crossed his face, he smashed it. When I reaped him in he got hung up on a stick, so I jumped in the water and ruined my school shoes to bear hug my fish! It was the best way to start off my break!! He weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces.....my biggest bass yet.
