Not bad considering Issac wiped out our feed. Had a near perfect first split by hunting late and smart with a 5.96 ducks per hunter average in the 1st split, but the 2nd split is much slower at 3.92 ducks per hunter effort so far. Season to date my blind has bagged 231 ducks with 47 hunters out of 19 hunts which puts me at 4.91 ducks per hunter effort for the season so far. We will have a tough next 3 weeks with low water and very skittish birds. The major difference between this year and previous years is that we have to hunt as late as 11am or 12pm to get our ducks even on opening weekends and in the first split. Some days I have stayed in the blind till 1:30pm. There just aren't many birds and they don't move much.
the first split we did ok make 19 hunts shooting an average of 9 ducks a hunt limited out 3 times he storm wiped out a lot of our feed a well made a few hunts on the lease and hunts in different areas and pretty much have had same results birds r being really skidish and shy but for the most part the ducks just are not down this year and the weather is playing a big role in it also
looks to me it's a female golden eye
