I dont have one....but I will before Jan 1. Everyone I know that has one really likes them.

What is the difference between the XD and the XDM

I used to own an older model XD in .45 ACP. It was a great pistol but had a lot of slack in the trigger and even worse, a lot of slack in the trigger reset. A year or so ago I was able to shoot a newer XD in 9mm. It wasn't even the same gun. It was phenomenally better than the .45 XD I used to own.

With that said, I will admit that I am a Glock fan.

I think you will be happy with your purchase. Buy some ammo and 'hi-cap' mags before they're banned!
