I've been on a lease right out of Columbus, 6 miles from town since 1986. We've killed combined maybe 200 bucks in that time, lease wide with 10 members, and the 13 inch inside spread rule imposed by the state years ago. I've never seen a body remotely close to being that big. Dang sure never saw a deer approach 170+ inches. Saw a 155 that came off the river north of town once. Good kill. Just an example, I killed an 8 and 9 pt about 30 minutes apart. Both legal bucks with the 13 inside rule. You could clearly tell the 8 was the biggest body of the two. We put him on the scale before touching him with a knife and he weighed 132 lbs. Y'all did well those are very good kills for that area.
