Inshore Fishing in Cocodrie / DuLarge in South Central Louisiana
Dularge 12-11
We had 2 boats running on this very cold day and we didn't see any other boats out today, TOO COLD & TOO WINDY to fish but, the fish didn't care! All big trout today, no throw backs.
On my boat I had Dale and Richard from Tulsa and even though it was 17 deg when they left home they said it was much colder here? For the conditions we were dealing with I was very happy with the 20 beautiful trout we caught, that was better than I expected to do.
On the second boat was Terry (CATCHDAT.com) and 'Burn Hack' Jason with an amazing 50 beautiful trout! That's right, a 2 man limit by 11 am on a day like today so, no more excuses for them ever!
Of course we had to run deep into the marsh for clean water but, there was no escaping the wind. As soon as Terry and Jason limited that was a good enough reason for all of us to run back to the camp for hot coffee!
All of Terry and Jason's fish and most of our's were caught on Bunker colored HLT Swimmer Jr''s. We did also catch a few with the Endurance Shrimp under a cork.
We are hoping to do as good tomorrow and should be even better as the week goes. We have openings for the rest of the week so give us a call and warm up to some of this unbelievable action!
Big thanks to Capt Tommy with High Life Tackle for great products and for hooking me up with some with no notice yesterday!
