The rigs are stacked about 5 miles from the mouth of the jettys just east of the shipping lane. It's too iffy this time of year at the rigs, but you might get lucky and catch some reds and white trout. If I were you, I would launch in Lake Charles (Prien Lake boat launch) and start at the I-210 bridge or the I-10 bridge and work your way down to Turners Bay. TB is the northern most part of Big Lake, fish the reefs just south of the little islands there. All you'll have to do is look for the boats, shut down and troll in until you find fish. The trout have been stacked up there as well as reds. Next bet, try LNG canal (Big white tanks just north and east of Turners Bay), deep water there a usually holds specks when the weather turns cold. If I didn't already have plans this weekend, I would offer to take you guys. Good Luck and let us know what you catch!!

Thanks! We are gonna start on the other end of the lake, dropping in at the ferry off LA27 and searching for some flounder and whatever else comes our way. I think the next trip we will start out on the north side.
