Another solid box from da Hornet
Fear The Hornet
Launched out of Dockside yesterday a little late due to the fog headed for canals and bayous on the Northshore armed with the new Matrix Shad Green Hornet. The bite was not as good as last weekend but enough to keep me interested. The weak tide range and warm temps changed the fish pattern a bit but that's what makes it fun. The fish were definitely more shallow this week so majority were caught on a 1/4 oz jig. Tried topwater and twitchbaits but couldn't get 'em interested. All fish again caught on the Hornet...I'll say that the Green Hornet packs a big time sting.

Beautiful box. Ima have to go get some green hornets soon. Seems like its hot right now.
Ummm question didn't they make this b4 and had stop or something because i have some that or Advocado Matrix Shad i bout a few years ago or is this different because of Glow???
Nice box there J!! The fog Saturday was nothing nice. Seemed like it took forever for me to hit the causeway in that pea soup!!
jls: That green Matrix that you are talking about was a green bait with black flake totally different than this new color the green hornet.
That's some dagum big ole Specs for the Marsh. Nice catch dude.
AvoGlow has always been my top color, and the colors (avo and glow) used on this lure are the best that I've seen.
Yeah J the fog was a beast, took it forever to burn off.
