No double bred French .. I did do the ancestry.com thing and on my moms side it just said that her grand parents came from France and that was it for that . But on my dads side , and in no way do I beleive this , but my great to the 42nd power grand father was the Charles the bald king of France . So I looked this guy up and his father was the emperor of Rome . Now if that were true I think i should be the one receiving royalties ! Ancestry.com is scam , everyone I know that looked up their family is related to some famous people . They were reaching deep to say I'm related to the emperor of Rome . Lol

My Dad and my Grandfather always told me my last name was German and if you heard it would you say no doubt ,so I believed them , my Dad passed about 4 years ago and his sister got me into helping her do a family tree search on the net , between us we got back to 1640 and found that not one of our relatives were from Germany , found out our ancestors came from Switzerland ------- now I am wondering if there is a bank box over there I may have inherited , that's a joke
