I couldn't really say anything here that would be considered un Biased so I'll just say success is something earned and you earned it the right way Scott. Being a good person to people, helping out when you can and just being an all together Outdoorsman will help you make your living doing what you love to do. Don't let success change who you are because I can guarantee you you will be successful in this venture.
I'm happy for you bro.

Ty bro and ill continue to be me and not somebody I'm not. I enjoy helping others on the water. Then they report that on here that they caught fish after pointing them in te right direction. Ill tell ya this I look foward to helping kids get more envolved in fishing as well as teaching them how to catch trout and redfish. The knowledge I have be taking in over the years especially from my grandfather, I look foward to sharing that with others!
Glad to hear that I was correct on your success! I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors! True to my original post, once you are up and running I would like to be one of your first customers. I don't know you but from your posts I can tell you are a class act. And I'm a big believer in people chasing their dreams, plus I can always use a few pointers on catching logs!!! It looks like you have a hell of a supporting cast out there helping you get started but if you need anything just let me know.
Good luck and congrats!!!
Look,I'm not the most modest of people and think I know everything there is to know about fishing for some reason but there's two people who I've actually been able to talke something away from and use it for my everyday fishing trips.
Capt. Eric Dumas and the now Capt. Scott Walker.
Those two dudes will add something much more important to your arsenal than the latest and greatest fishing lure.
Not knocking any other charter captains but these two guys just have what it takes to pull #'s and numbers on those not so great days out on the water and the money spent was worth more than all the baits combined in my 50# tackle box.
Everyone who really loves fishing should bite that bullet that one time and go out with either of these captains. It's worth it.
Congrats Capt. Scott
Thank you for those kind words!! Just like with capt. Eric it took me a long time to figure out what I know today. The lake still whips me but not as much as it used to. Delacroix is my cup of tea for sure tho. I still to this day learn something new everytime I go fishing but that makes me into a better fisherman. Love helping others find fish by giving tips on where to go and what to use. It's just who I am and I know capt Eric is the same way. I look foward to working with him capt's Marty Travis and Chris in the very near future!
Correct tigerdave1, Scott took the last part of the tests this past Friday and passed them all. He called me Friday night very happy, I could hear the ice rattling and the top spin off the Crown Royal bottle.
As I mentioned to Scott, the trick part of the magic trick is going to be for him to stay off the water long enough to get his paperwork to the USCG National Maritime Center. I was going to tell Scott no fishing with me until his paperwork was sent off but he also just bought his own boat. Congratulations again Scott.
