Offshore Fishing in Louisiana

Cush-it

I see the Cush-it all the time in the Classifieds. Any offshore guys like using this? I like the concept a lot but it looks like it might slip off the rod if there isn't constant pressure. I'd mainly use it for snapper fishing. Let me know if its worth the purchase. Thanks!
