Here Fishie Fishieeeeeee lil Squid for ya!!!!
no ledline needed for trailer i was taught capt henery p. aprox 12 to 14 inches of mono and tye to front hook of trap /when you pull trap along side of boat watch the action of the lure [change from front to back hooks and see the change in lure action
Ummmm mike if you don't use lead line what do you use to tie squid to Trap with????
12 to 14 inches of mono.
thanks fish taxi&thats tied to rear or front hook?
try each hook and check the action. I think he meant that the front hook had better action.
sorry i was not clear check the action of the lure without the trailer then add to front or rear hook and pick the one that works the best on traps for me its the front tie the squid with mono tie the lead to the lure or let out a proper length of braid capt henery is teaching me i am no expert but i have been told this is an exact science so i am sure about one thing practice makes perfect and oneofthepack says got to go to know
on Rat-L-Traps tie to front hook with 20lb mono approx 12-15in long. #4 treble will work.
Thanks.........Lord,fish taxi One more thing ummmm how would u run mono threw squid to Hook???
You have to thread the mono through the squid. There is a small hole at the top of the bait and the body is hollow.
Thanks...troutman so you don't use no weight on Squid Right?
No weight needed on the squid trailer.
