sorry i was not clear check the action of the lure without the trailer then add to front or rear hook and pick the one that works the best on traps for me its the front tie the squid with mono tie the lead to the lure or let out a proper length of braid capt henery is teaching me i am no expert but i have been told this is an exact science so i am sure about one thing practice makes perfect and oneofthepack says got to go to know

on Rat-L-Traps tie to front hook with 20lb mono approx 12-15in long. #4 treble will work.

You have to thread the mono through the squid. There is a small hole at the top of the bait and the body is hollow.
