Ill be there for sure, its an awsome experience, just seeing the crowds of people and boats.

just make sure u wear your glasses and some people just dont understand why??? got to be this is the only thing in this country, that is so crazy as far as duck huntin??? unbelievable??? got to be there to believe it!!!

dont know but its the bigest shooting event i have ever seen but its so much fun despite the minor dangers lol. we had out 30 limit in 30 minutes thats a pooldo a minute, lol. ill post a small clip of a large pile of pooldo that was near my spot as i was leaving youll here the gun shot it the background, 'amazing'

all the background noise in the video is gunfire not wind lol.

my grandson and his 3 buddies got their limit in no time and had a blast just watching all the crazy things going on!!! he said it was like a war zone!! he also said, u can go out there without a gun and get your limit, just by picking up all the dead pouldeau, just left floating on the water by the hunters, that just want to shoot and kill whatever flies, now thats sad to me and him!!! just kill your limit and leave!!! dont kill, just to kill and waste!! i guess some hunters, just dont get it and never will??

killed their limit of pouldeau at the coot shoot then that afternoon went to the lease on bayou black!!! killed their limit there, what a great day!!! went the next day limited out again!!! birds birds birds!!!

we successfully implemented a no fly zone around my boat. white t shirts and jeans, no camo. had a 3 man limit in 15 minutes, then set up and got a 3 man limit of ruddy ducks, teal and one green head. did it again sunday. 3 man limit in about 20 minutes. lost a few in some lillies. was back at my house in raceland with birds cleaned, shower taken, and nap started by 9 a.m. successful coot shoot 2012

where is lake beouf? I want to do this next year

you can launch in kraemer/bayou boeuf or raceland. about a 15 minute boat ride. you can go season long and do this. later in the year bring a pirogue to sneak up on them. 2-1/4 #6 works best

I think a lot of the coots seen on the water or some lost in lillies that die later or some you thought you missed and die further than you keep your eye on them. its utter kayas with constant coots buzzing and gunfire lol. its fun, and not to mention the biggest duck boat show youll ever see on the water and at the launch.
