Amite river
Went spent a couple hours on the amite river today. Launched out of bay view and took that bayou(don't know the name of it) out to the amite. Fished structure, points, & lily pads from the rock wier back to the bayou I came in on with soft plastics, crank bait, & spinnerbaits. Did not get a single bite. I knew there was some fish kills in the area after the storm but never expect absolutely nothing like this afternoon. The water was low and very smooth but no current had a slight breeze from time to time.

Nice day
I only went to run my boat because its been a couple weeks and ill be in the woods for a while starting this weekend. I wasn't planning on keeping anything just wanted a cast a little. Never expected to catch a bunch but at least a couple. I just didnt know how bad the area got it.

Coyell had a lot of floaters after Issac. The whole river system down there got whacked pretty hard. Unfortunatley Issac did not kill off the Asian Carp, as I see them now more and more often.
