RIGOLETS FISHING REPORTS

The strong winds have given me the oppertunity to post a few more of my recent trips.

Dutch Prager came in with Al Calabrese. We made our way over to the Biloxi Marsh where the bugs were thick. We decided to fish some of the gas wells in Lake Borgne to escape the bugs. Al & Dutch caught 32 Speckled & White Trout with live shrimp on the bottom before the winds picked up enough to chase the bugs away. We returned to the Biloxi Marsh to catch 9 fat Redfish, the water was high so shrimp under a poping cork was the ticket to the 9 Reds.

It has become a tradition for Steve McNemar to fish with AAofLA in late October. On the Blue Wave for this trip Steve & son Jake. The winds were some what strong out of the west. We decided to run toward Bayou Bienvenue to escape the winds. Found diving birds. I set us up over a drop off where we caught over 60 Specks & White Trout. Steve likes to fish plastics (Gulp & Dudleys) on my drop shot rig. We made a move into the near by marsh to look for Redfish. Caught 4 and headed home. On the weay home came across more birds diving on shrimp, stopped and added more Specks & White trout to the box. Back at my dock I cleaned 74 trout & 4 nice fat Redfish. It's always fun fishing with Steve & his family. They will be back before next October.

Emmerson Johns came in with coworker Matt. I have fished with these two for many years. We fished a gas well in Lake Borgne with live Shrimp on a drop shot rig to catch 88 Trout, Specks & White. These two are fun to fish with and will be back next year.

This cold front which has kept me on land for the last 3 days will only bring the fish closer to my dock.
