I've been having mine for 4 years and it works great. The only thing that I did was put some paint on that bright grass. brown black and green

ya we did the same thing too brite like it is! stands out to much!!!!!! dont have to cover every blade of grass, just dull it out!!!

Like the others said, hit it with some paint. We also cut a couple pieces of burlap to throw over the top, between hunters, to help break up the open area.

Paint with Killer Weed

Thanks Guys for the advise, I just finished fixing it up. One side is like suggested with addition of the paint and the other side has the paint and some killer weed added. What side looks best?

Yeah grass is way to bright out of box, you did an awesome job in making it not as bright, looks great.

But one thing you may want to do if you want it to last the whole season, don't let the grass hang and flap in the wind or in the water, it will tear up the grass/when it gets wet it gets even worst!! If grass gets wet, let it dry out when you get home. saves the grass..Find a cover to rapp the grass in to protect it when hauling boat and driving to the blind. Trust me when getting 2-3 years after we started covering all the grass. Redone it this year.
