Inshore Fishing in Southwest Louisiana

Looking For Info

Any ideas on a good place to put in a kayak from southcentral to southwest Louisiana that would keep me out of the wind and wouldnt have to travel to far to get to some fish? I'm coming down from Pineville. Thanks
