Today I had Rene Esneault and his buddies Ri cky and Randy onboard the Skeeter for some crazy paced trout action. We left out of the Reel Inn lodge  with thick fog on the bayou so we took our time heading out to the honey hole but when we finally made it there the trout where waiting on us and they where hungry.  We had slime flying from the first cast and the action was hot and heavy for about 40 minutes  then it was like a switch turned off and no more bites, with about 30 fish in Yeti we made a short move and thats where we hit the Jackpot !! We had double keeper trout coming in one after another , they key was to stay right in the  middle of the birds because the shrimp where skipping  across the water and the trout where in hot pursuit. 
After we finished slamming the trout we headed to the Redfish hole where I have been sight casting  some big Reds, once again we found the reds cruising the flats chasing bait. We casted at 8 fish and hooked 3 ,  the others would look right at it and keep on swimming.  
Another great day on the water with great company, thanks to Capt. Marty for putting the trip together.
Another example of how teamwork paid off because all our boats whacked the fish today!!
