Nice boat! Bayou Blue is it on the south end of CFL? I could not find a Bayou Blue in Lafitte, I was thinking of trying Lafitte this Sat.or Sunday where yall suggested the Pen and bayou dupont, i read an article on sportsman about Indian Grave Yard I would like to go there sometime but I dont have the experience to go that far it looks like a redfish haven. i will let ya know if i am able to go sat.
Thanks............its ole boat I've had to replace steering cable it was new when i got bpat but it had been sat up for 4-5 months so it was froze up, then damum throttle cable broke replaced it , put new ignition switch in too, Also had to add new Trailer axles w/ new hubs&bought one new tire&wheel from walmart So now i hope i can concentrate more on fishin, it runs AWESOME Pushes the boat 40-45 mph. Bayou Blue@CFL is across the lake to west side you come out@lake on east side and its almost straight across, i never been to lafitte, I like to make trip to Delacroix they been burnin them up down there, Just let me know where you decide to go I wil be@CFL Saturday mornin Cyaaaaaaaaa
personally i find november around thanksgiving a great time, the water is usually super low and the fish are easy to find and get to plus they are hungry.
during this time just about any intersection of a feed canal and cuts leading into marsh or oyster beds will have reds gathered in schools waiting for a meal. not every spot produces but when you find them you never have to move until you go home.
its the traditional ''fish until you run out of beer or your tired of catchin them'' scenario
