As Admiral said, it isn't worth it.
I trapped almost every day last season and sold for a little over $200 for the season with about $1000 in expense. It is not profitable now like it was in the 70's & 80's. I get less for mink now than I did in the 80's.

...for the hours you put in you not going to make enough to pay a used beat-up boat note...70% of Louisiana is leased or barren...ask any trapper between the license and gas and a lease you will range further and further and the local proachers will steal from you if you not in the click...check it out w/others it's a bygone thing...this happened to a few relatives of mine over 40 years ago !!!...cheers
