Waterfowl Hunting in Vermilion Bay in South Central Louisiana

Public Land Near Vermillion

Is attakapas good for hunting waterfowl. Its the closest area from where i live in vermillion parish. There are alot of public land oppurtunities from morgan city to mississippi but not much from vermillion to texas. I will start hunting public land until i find another lease. My family just bought some land near catahoula lake up agaist dewey wills. I will try that as well but i would like to find something closer for week day hunts.
