I would definitely support this! However, if it doesn't pass, it will not prevent me from carrying my firearm with me. I'm not a 'trigger-happy' gun owner, but I will do whatever I have to do to protect myself and my property. A thug would pop a cap on someone in the blink of an eye. Maybe a few shots fired back in self-defense will turn the tide of violent crime against law-abiding citizens.

...always keep in mind a few days after Katrina Orleans Parish seized guns from the old and law abiding and after cherry pick'n re-sold them back on the street...we have the Times-Picayune to back it up...(and a few dealers loved it)...

Was just wondering how many of you have registered your gun(s). Is this mandatory or just a way for the law/government to find out what you have? If some officer knocked on your door, ordering you to hand over your gun(s), would you do it or say you sold it/them?

they already know, if they find one of your guns used in a crime, they gonna trace the serial # to u.
