QUICK MORNING AT THE BEACH!!! First let me give credit to Chef Eric for a fantastic dinner last night of Trout Meniere with pecan crust with tons of Jumbo lump crabmeat on top, Shrimp Remoulade, Gumbo loaded with crabmeat, shrimp and oysters. Dynamite dessert of homemade chocolate pecan pie with caramel sauce topped with whipped cream - homemade also!!! Day Number 2 for Attorney Keith Thompson from Lubbock, TX and his friends and clients. In my boat was Scott Simpson, Chance and Devin Waggner. The guys only wanted to fish until 10 am this morning so we knew it was going to be a fast day. My guys wanted to catch reds and we got on a good redfish bite with real nice trout mixed in. Capt Rory also got on a good bite first thing this morning with his group Keith, Charles Perry and Seve Garza. He also got into a school of big Jacks that his people wouldn't let him leave.. They already had as many fish as they could carry on the plan from yesterday. A good problem to have. We ended the day with 14 reds 3 puppy’s and 35 trout. A good bunch of guys a good time was had by all.
