Capt. Bob's Leeville Report
Hello Again Cyber Anglers,
Fish Cleaning Station at Boudreaux’s Waterfront Motel in Leeville continues to be busy. White Trout and Redfish have ruled the roost with Specks taking third. Sunday and Monday we fished early morning at the rocks in Deep Bayou for our bigger Specks with Rick and his dad. After the early morning bite ended, we headed for White Trout City in the South Texaco Field and we ended the two days at Redfish Point One catching big White Trout, nice Specks, and Redfish as the tide stopped falling in the late afternoon. Once again Carolina rigged minnows caught most of the catch.
Fishing is nothing short of spectacular and getting better! More and more Big Specks are moving in every time another front passes thru, joining the White Trout and Redfish in a great Fall Feeding Frenzy. The East Power Lines and Access Canal areas along With North, South Lake and Lake Jessie on the East side, and the West Access, Bayou Blue to Catfish Lake and Bayou Pierre et Le on the West side are hot spots. You can even catch Bull Redfish in Bayou Rosa.
You can see all of the above mentioned action on this weekend’s upcoming edition of Between the Banks both on LCN Television Network daily, and betweenthebanks.com 24/7 or the BTB fishing line at 504-458-9451. Here are some pic’s, in the meantime good luck fishing……….Capt. Bob
