Thanks man. Yeah i had the same problem with the grass and pieces and of marsh blocking my usual paths through small bayous. I have an aluminum flat boat so I know if I had trouble then everyone will. I will try the birds in Laurier tomorrow morning if the reds are running on the banks. Nice thing about Lake Laurier is you can troll the banks for reds and see the birds activity all at the same time.

They had birds working all over lake laurier with keeper trout last weekend. Only problem was the knats. Hopefully with this front the gnats are not as thick. Also noticed that ponds in jefferson canal is loaded with grass dont know if its due to the diversion thats building up land or not but all my boat routes were loaded up with thick pockets of grass and sediment.
