I was recently invited to a friends place to hunt in TX and to my surprise this big Rattle snake was waiting for me at the botton of the stand when I climed down. It was about four feet from me and started rattling and scared the crap out of me. After my heart beat got back to normal and the smell of S#@t left my nose, I managed to get my light out my bag. When I shined the light on him it all happened again. I bolted my gun and the 7mag done the rest. He is a little over 6' and has 13 rattles. Sorry the picture isn't the best and the pole hides his rattles. I will post a picture of the skin when I get him back from the taxidermist.
