Thanks for all of the responses. Is there any way to practice shooting? I am assuming trap/skeet is one of the only ways, but I do understand that the birds do not fly in a straight line. Is there anything I should do to prepare myself before going?

...trap and skeet will improve control, posture and confidence...we did it for years but never could get past 18 out of 25... (and when 'ya have side bets it gets worst)...just forget about any target flying down'ya barrel...cheers
P/S...if a target is going from left to right keep your left foot forward...if it's going from right to left put your right foot forward...and never stop the bead on a moving target always follow thru...it's the many little things that add up...cheers
