Day # 2 of our adventure's in Delacroix. Met up with John Gremillion and Vincent at sweetwater marina at 6 a.m. Also on board today was John's good friend Chris. John and Chris are childhood friends and are a kick in the ass when together. Non stop laughter and they both had me rollin all day.
We jumped on board the M/V Holy Mackerel and left sweetwater around 6:30 and headed to point fienne. After catching 2 trout with nothing else to show for, we left fienne and headed to Baker's Bay. Baker's was full of shrimp. We never left Baker's Bay until we had our 100 trout in the boat. Like yesterday, we used Matrix Shads and TKO shrimp under popping corks to do our damage. High winds again today meant NO GNATS! What a relief.
Another great day of fishing with the crew. If you plan on fishing Delacroix, check out sweetwater marina. They will go out the way to help you and put you on some fish.

Thank you for the nice comments friends, it is nice to be back in Delacroix for another awesome Trout season from now through spring. Although we limited out every day from Sunday through Thursday, I must admit we battled through a ton of White and small Trout. No complaints but we caught more white Trout in the past 5 days then I have in the last 5 years fishing Delacroix. Don't think that trend will last I still believe there are Trout that haven't moved inshore just yet. Thanks again, hope all is well!
