He's Back...
After getting pics of this big guy back around the first of August he disappeared on me. Well, a week ago he started showing up again on the other side of the lease in one of our small bow plots. Man, it's good to see him back.
It's funny because he basically holds his head in the exact same position in two separate pictures. While we're looking at it, how old do you think he is. I've had a few friends tell me 3.5, which I agree with, but I thought I'd get your opinion.

definitely 4 1/2 y/o possibly 5 1/2
way too much body mass to be otherwise IMO.
don't think rack says much about age.

Thanks for the insight guys. I'm still 'new' to hunting and have a lot of learning to do. Even with my untrained eye, I knew this was an old guy. He is just so much bigger than all the deer around him and he'll make a true trophy if I can bag him.
We'll see this weekend if I have any luck.

Solid 4 1/2 YO minimum. Lots of muscle mass, lower legs and neck/shoulder has filled out nice. Back starting a very small sway and belly has lost its clean line.
