Another great day of trout fishing down in Dularge, Capt. Travis and I had a blast fishing the Chad Landry bachelor party group on Friday.  

First I must say it was my honor to take out a young Marine who was on his second day home from deployment overseas where has been protecting this great country we live in.  As far the trout fishing goes it was unbelievable  at our first stop, we had 5 rods with double rigs tied on and with almost everycast we had 10 trout coming in the Skeeter. That crazy action didn't last long but when the smoked cleared we had 52 speckled trout on the floor of the boat, we jumped around in Sister Lake and  Lake Mechant the rest of the day catching fish at every stop with keepers and throw backs mixed in.  We all had a great time catching and good luck to Chad with the upcoming wedding. Thanks to Travis for putting everything together!

Double rigged Matrix Shad and Cocodrie Cocahoes did all the damage as usual...
