i think they are so close its not enough difference between the locations to mean much.
you might notice when fish are still on the outside before moving to the inside there are times the trout stack up outside the main bayous and canals because they arent ready to move inside yet but once they do decide move farther inland and into those areas, there are still more then enough fish that will stay there on the outer edges of the inland marsh and they dont go farther inland.
i dont see a time where i would think leeville wont hold much fish or it isnt worth trying but cfl on the other hand can be slow when waiting for them to move in so during the transition period of them moving inland then leeville has a slight edge on my opinion of which area to expect to produce more fish.
often you will hear it said you wait for the second cold front in october before you go looking inland for concentrations of trout
Yo Pop!!!!!... We got total on 2 nice Reds, 12 Nice White Trout, 2 Nice Specks Lost One red broke off Darn!!!!, One Huge Sheephead Darn Swivel opened up lost it, Wont buy no more that type Leader w/thoses Type Swivel, It didn't Break just Open Up!!!!Had 4-5 Puppy Drum throw backs, 4-5 Rat Reds Released So even w/ Cable actin up on Outboard wasn't total Lost Day!!!!!
Joe glad you had a good meal and some,even with a bad day. The old saiding even a bad day fishing is better then a work day. LOL -- It ony going to get better and better in G.M. fall and winter is the best.The only bad thing for me is that i love to duck hunt this time of the year, so i miss out on grate fishing all in all i do get a trip here and ther Hope you gps bb.Wen we get the time we will show you a lot more.
Headed that way this weekend to try also.I fish about three times a year and that is my question also.Where to try this time of the year?Everytime we go its different weather and winds,tide range.So it is kinda a roll the dice and see what takes place.I might try closer in this time.Bayou blue and the broken marsh.I have and freind that is going with me,He has never been saltwater fishing before so this will be fun for him.

perchjerker..........There in the landing side too@CFL Public Landing in the canals,ponds etc!!! We had motor trouble yesterday@CLF/Lake Billiot, But we still caught few Keepers,alot throw backs like Speckler said..........I'll be back down in coule weeks after get Outboard fixed
no that was bay gasoline its between leeville and golden meadow, it is leased by picciola construction in cut off. you can fish the canals around catfish lake right now i know for sure a few years ago someone had leased the canals from apache and was charging $500 to fish the canals. he kept it a couple years and let it go so it went back to normal.
