A beautiful day to be on the water! Got a call from David Naquin who wanted to catch bull reds as they are fishing a bull red tournament in a couple weeks. Byron Carline joined David for today's trip. We decided to hit the smaller reds first as they wanted a few for the grill. The fishing was slower than normal but it was no problem getting the guys 8 fat reds for the pit before departing to search for the bulls. We arrived at the location for the bulls only to find out we had missed the tide. No water movement equals no fish. Good reports today in regards to trout fishing in Lake Mechant!! Thanks guys for a fun day doing the DU! Good luck fishing.
