JLS, catching trout on the bridges doesn't have a lot to do with knowing where to go. It does however have a LOT to do with knowing how to fish.

If the fish aren't on the bridges then all it takes is a little smarts to be able to get them. I'm smoking them rite now in the lake. Can't give location because i took my time over the years and learned it. Left them biting today!!

Might as well say the trout are biting on the reefs I just can't say which ones.

Ok soci don't give u the exact spot where I'm catching and for that u call me a dill hole??? I'm not a report fisherman like u are. I actually get out there take the time and fish around. I took the time and learned where the fish are all year. Jls ur one of the reasons y me and a bunch of us don't post on here. Instead of bein a report fisherman actually get out there take the time and learn the lake like me the guides in the lake and the local fisherman. Btw the old pics from last year or the year before are getting really old. I like helping fellow fisherman out but come on. I'm not gonna give out my exact spot so it will look like mardi gras there.

My advice is to hit the reefs!! Manchac on a falling tide has trout at the mouth of south pass as well!

nightfisher .......I meant no harm j/k around I would like to get a area to catch some closer to home&since I'm not bout maybe 40 min from Manchac Might be good place to Start

It's that time of year nightfisher! I'm actually fishing the oyster reefs on the south end of Lake Borgne and doing well. No crowds and plenty fish! Haven't tried the reefs in Lake P yet. Might give it a try.
