I have met a bunch of great people on this site who are now some of my better friends and fishing buddies. This site is a great resource for everyone and I hope everyone can get along.

John I have to say this jealousy gets you no wheres, brother you are one of the best and I would be honored to fish with you any time , but I am a little older and slower.

The mirror must be faulty because some people apparently can't see themself???

Chris did I do something wrong are maybe I'am to old school for some of you'll, Respect is something earned and John has done this.

Thanks Chris for deleting the trash talk. I am new to the site and really enjoy reading the information from people like John. While I am a bit envious at times of John's success, I use his posts to challenge myself to become a better fisherman. Thanks for the good, helpful things you post, John.
I get annoyed really fast with all of the BS that takes place on this site. I whole-heartedly support removing negative comments. Hopefully, before too much longer, I'll post a pic of a really successful trip. I really am grateful for this forum and hope that our posts will continue to be informative and timely. Although monitoring posts can get tricky, it doesn't help that any old comment can drive a post back to the top (and I just contributed to this :^> ). Seems like a thumbs up or down button on some comments will push some bad conversations off the map as deserved. Not sure what the answer is. You have to admit, some posts get sabotaged or get sent back to the top for no good reason other than someone said BOO.

Meanwhile, some great fishing reports get buried really quick.

This is one of the reasons I don't post on here anymore. There are a few armchair fisherman who bash and doubt most things posted. Funny part is there are not alot of people who post on here. I will tell you exactly where I caught fish and what I was using. Chances are that spot won't produce everytime on every tide or wind direction or time of year. Another point to ponder is the posters on this site represent a very small percentage of actual fisherman. I Don't mean to be long winded but we need more posters on this site. No one will take your 'spot', and not everyone limits out every trip. Hek I fished twice last week in Port Sulphur. Day 1 I kept my fish, Day 2 I released every fish.

Maybe the cry babies accts should be locked fora month and give them a reason to cry. When they are allowed to return if they screw up again.....permanately deleted??

Chris I would consider this site a humongous success .

I just took a look at the missportsman for the second time in my life . The first time I thought it might be under construction because there were no comments . Well when I looked at it again nothing has changed .

So my point is that y'all must be doing something right to have hundreds of comments everyday , good or bad .

I got to agree the site is sussesful , I think a lot of it's sussess is that it is a bit more relaxed on rules , regulations , topics , moderation and such than the other brands , too much of any or all will kill the traffic , look else where and you can see it -------- you have to learn to take the good with the bad as everyone don't think alike and may have just had a bad day ------- sometimes it takes somebody to say something stupid for another to get a spark and come up with something smart

Pic and Fish are right...positive and negative people and all the 7 moods of personality psychosis does sells ads and draws attention w/o using too much over-control buttons...

P/S...I know one small business owner that advertises with LSM that pumped-up his volume about 20% in less than a year...and his residual exposure carries him thru his off months...(then the compulsive fool goes out and buys a new truck and he's right back where he started...blaming other people)??? cheers
