Waterfowl Hunting in Southwest Louisiana
Bright Future For Southwest LA
Was able to go to the blinds this weekend for a little scouting. I was pumped to see a thousand teal along with about 10 grey ducks on my pond. Last year was terrible for us in the gulf coast marsh because we had no water and no wigeon grass. This year we have more water than ever already and the ponds are full of wigeon grass. Our rice field blinds in Sweet Lake looked great also. Going to try to make one more trip before game day to check out one more blind north of Lake Charles. How are the water levels for other people? Do yall's blinds look good too?
