you can go to Golden Meadow Put in@Catfish Lake Public Landing And have fun or@Dularge/Cocodrie look on Google Earth@Map u'll see it alot places there in Houma Area

Get a map of the PAC. Launch at PAC. Enjoy the crabbing,fishing,hunting at PAC. You right there brudda. Pointe Au Chien Wildlife Managment Area. Make sure you got a WMA Stamp on your license. Great place to crab too, since there's no commercial allowed. This time of year I would probably leave the PAC Launch and go west to the mouth of that bayou where it dumps into a big bay. Schooly trout and birds there if not now will be soon. Go uptide, shut the motor off and drift either in or out the pass.. Crank up the boat and move after you drift in(or out) and repeat. I usually run there from Larose, but you are much closer.

thanks guys, iv fished all my life mostly freshwater. iv saltwater fished but it was mainly on side the road type fishing. which can be fun, but looking for those nice fish spots. besies my girlfriend doesnt like it to much when we go and only catch 3 or 4 reds... lol anything close and easy to get to will be fine. once again thanks guys
