Was in Rexmere,LA , outside of Marksville, this weekend at a family friends camp for opening weekend of squirrel season with friends and family. Had a great weekend riding 4wheelers, hunting, all kinds of good food, playing music, and shooting guns. Hunted saturday morning and I killed 1 squirrel and wounded a coyote i saw chasing 2 spotted fawns. we killed a total of 40 squirrels on opening day between all the hunters. hunting was good until the wind started blowing then that killed the hunting. no one made the hunt Sunday morning due to too much drinking and no one at the camp was really prepared for the cold weather and with all the wind we had in the morning. Can't wait till next time
