BEAUTIFUL DAY AT THE BEACH!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with Terri Sellers, her father, Burt, son, Matt, his wife, Regan, from northern MS. It was a picture perfect day at the beach. Calm wind, good tide, beautiful weather. After a little coaching my team really started to put fish in the boat. We had a nice box of fish going when they asked me about redfish. Told them the conditions were perfect and we could go look for them. Made a couple of stops in Fortuna and Lake of Two Trees but didn't get a bite. Came up to an island in Bayou Bernard and got on a good bite. We ended the day with 75 speckled trout, 11 reds, 6 puppy drum, a pompano and some sheephead. The group couldn't say enough about how much fun they had fishing. We are back at them tomorrow and will post a report. I told them with the front coming through tonight it was going to be a different fishing trip tomorrow. We will let you know how we do.
